During last year lockdown, Shree Saibaba Sansthan, Siddhivinayak Temple, Mata Mansa Devi Temple, Mahalaxmi Temple, Shaktipeeth Ambaji Mandir, Jyotirlinga Somnath Temple, Mahavir Temple, Gorakhnath Mandir, Mahamaya Mandir have contributed ₹51 crore, ₹10 crore, ₹10 crore, ₹2 crore , ₹1.01 crores, ₹1 crores, ₹1 crores, ₹51 lakhs, ₹5 lakhs to COVID Relief Fund. Jagannath Puri, Radha Swami Satsang, Ram Mandir Ayodhya, Salangpur Hanuman Mandir, Rani Sati Mandir, Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir made their significant contribution by arranging temporary beds and quarantine centers in the temple premises.

Belur Math

Belur Math is the perfect place for spiritual uplifting and awakening. It was founded by Swami Vivekananda who has often said “Condemn none: if you can stretch out a helping hand, do so. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let them go their own way.” Belur Math located on the west bank of the Hooghly River is a pilgrimage center that attracts devotees of all religious faiths. Belur Math has also emerged as an important contributor in the pandemic and the Ramakrishna Mission is also making efforts to reach more needy people in Bengal.

Kaila Devi Temple Trust located in Kaila Devi, Rajasthan runs a hospital which has been taking care of patients suffering from the pandemic.

Swaminarayan temples are not only limited to India, but they also have great fame abroad. There are famous Swaminarayan temples in America, Australia, Seychelles, Canada, Thailand, Fiji, Mauritius, New Zealand, Oman, UAE and Zambia. During this Corona pandemic crisis, Sri Swaminarayan Mandir Bhuj (Bhuj Mandir) is also trying to serve humanity. The Bhuj Temple has commenced operation of the free corona quarantine center in the temple premises from 29 April, 2021.

Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir

Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is a temple under construction in India. According to the architectural plan, it will be the highest religious monument in the world, situated in Vrindavan, the holy city of Shri Krishna. The temple is managed by the Akshaya Patra Foundation. The Akshaya Patra Foundation has provided 6 crore (60 million) meals to the needy since the onset of the Corona pandemic. Presently, the Foundation is providing food relief in Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tripura, West Bengal, Punjab, Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh.
