The Bhadrapada month is dedicated to worshipping Lord Vishnu and therefore the Bhadrapada Purnima has a lot of importance. The day after Bhadrapada Purnima marks the beginning of the Pitru Paksha Shraddha. This day is also auspicious for performing the Griha Pravesh ceremony. Bhadrapada Purnima is a sacred and special festival for Lord Vishnu followers. On this day devotees pray to Lord Satyanarayan with devotion to seek His blessings for a better life.
