Goddess Chandraghanta is worshipped on the third day of Navratri. Mata Manipur is considered to be the presiding deity of the chakra. Manipura chakra refers to the navel chakra. The navel chakra is located in the middle portion of the body and gives energy to the whole body. A decrease in energy in the navel chakra leads to the occurrence of various diseases in the body. Then meditate in front of the idol or picture of Maa Chandraghanta and invoke her. Perform the puja and offer fragrant flowers, fruits, kheer, sweets and honey to her as Bhog. Chant any mantra of Maa Chandraghanta 108 times to please her. In the evening, light an oil lamp and an incense stick again, offer Bhog and perform the Aarti.
