  • Wake up early in the morning before dawn and take a bath and wear clean clothes. 
  • Offer Argh or water to the Sun while reciting Lord Vishnu mantras..

  • Feed grass to cows.
  • Light a lamp (made of ghee and cotton wick) beside the Peepal tree and offer water to the tree.

  • To honour your ancestors, serve them handmade puris, kheer, and vegetables, which you then eat.
