Chant any mantra of Maa Brahmacharini 108 times to please her on puja day. In the evening, light an oil lamp and an incense stick again, offer Bhog, and perform the Aarti. Sadhaks who worship Maa Brahmacharini should observe the Brahmacharya Vrat.

Story Related to Goddess Brahmacharini

It is believed that Himalaya Raj was the ultimate devotee of Adishakti Mata. By the grace of Mata, he was blessed with a daughter who was named Parvati. Mata Parvati was an incarnation of Sati, so she naturally had unconditional love for Lord Shiva. To marry Lord Shiva, Mata Parvati did severe penance. She used to do the penance with kamandal and Jaap garland in her hand. She used to live alone in the dense forest and ate fruits and flowers for a living. During this period, many asuras also tried to frighten her, but she did not get distracted from her penance and finally attained Shiva.
