Rudrabhishek Puja Materials Required (Puja Samagri)

Some of the important puja materials (samagri) required for Rudra Abhishek Puja are incense sticks, oil lamp, naivedya, scent, camphor, belpatra, milk, honey, fruit, coconut, sandalwood, pure water, gangajal, betel nut and rose water. The most important thing in Rudrabhishek Puja is that the water should be flowing continuously on Lord Shiva during the recitation of the mantras. In such a situation, a continuous stream of water flows on Lord Shiva which is arranged by making a hole in a big pitcher. Lord Shiva can be pleased even by the simplest offerings such as leaves and flower petals. However, if Rudra Abhishek Puja is conducted, then it is beneficial to perform it according to the ancient Yajurvedic system. The Puja should be conducted by a well-qualified pandit.

Rudrabhishek Puja Mantras

There’s a special mantra of Lord Shiva which should be recited during the Rudrabhishek Puja conducted by the Yajurvedic method.
